ASME BPE ANNOUNCES ANNUAL EUROPEAN CONFERENCE AND
EXHIBITION TO BE HELD IN DUBLIN, IRELAND.

New York, NY - The American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Bioprocessing Equipment Standards Committee (BPE), has announced that it will hold its’ Annual European Conference and
Exhibition in Dublin Ireland the week of May 30th. The conference will be held at the CityWest Hotel on Wednesday 1st June (Tel: + 353 -1
– 4010500) and will include an Equipment Manufacturer’s Exhibition.
Conference topics will include but are not limited to; “Quality Elements of a $1 Billion Capital Project – Wyeth Grange Castle, Ireland ”, “Challenges faced with building
facilities in Europe – an American Perspective”,” Water Distillation Systems – Multi effect vs. Vapor Compression” and “Disposable Components in Process Applications”
The ASME BPE Standard serves the hygienic processing needs of those involved in the Bio-Processing, Pharmaceutical and Personal Care Products Industries. Tony Cirillo, Chairman of the ASME BPE Committee stated, “…the ASME Bio-Processing Equipment Standard provides designers and process engineers with a reliable and measurable way of
specifying hygienic tubes, valves and fittings for use in high purity applications such as water for injection (WFI), clean steam, ultra filtration, etc.” Mr.
Cirillo further commented, “…as a result of utilizing the BPE specification, the process of design, installation, validation and maintenance is easier to manage and reduces overall project costs.”
